Organized a Medical Camp in our "Centre of Excellence" (19.08.2023)
we held our regular monthly camp at Bal Vikas Trust on the Dugri campus .
This time, Palak Bhasin , all the way from New York, had a wonderful idea to make the day extra special for these unprivileged children . It was her way of giving back to the community by celebrating her first salary with the underprivileged treating them to some delicious snacks like pastries, patties, and fruity drinks .
We got to spend quality time with the children , chatting, laughing , and even listening to their songs and stories confidently holding the mike , while the refreshments were being laid out on the tables .
The event started with Sh Hanuman Chalisa , setting a peaceful tone for the day. Then, we handed out fruity drinks and bananas to them , and their excitement was heartwarming . Their laughter filled the air as they enjoyed their treats.
But the event didn’t stop there. Our dear Bajwa aunty had brought bananas for everyone . Biscuits and pastries were distributed to take back home so they could continue to enjoy the goodness even after the event was over. And we made sure the women didn’t miss out either; they received patties, oranges, and biscuits to brighten their day.
As the sun began to set, we said our goodbyes, leaving with hearts full of happy memories from the evening. It was a simple gesture, but it made a big difference in the lives of those we were fortunate enough to serve.
